some chargers like the Hyperions have the option to do a storage charge. Where it balances the cell and charges them to maybe 75%

My charger has a storage charge option, but if my Battery is above storage voltage then I need to discharge to that Voltage. My charger discharges at up to 1Amp. Is it safe to discharge at 1amp for all batteries or do I need to discharge at a lower rate for 4000ma 25c then I do for a 5000ma 35c?

Thanks for any help,

That's such a low draw that it's safe for any battery pack. In fact, it'll take halfway to forever to discharge that way -- at 1 Amp discharge rate it will take 1 hour to pull 1000mAh out of a pack.

My storage scheme (and that of many others I think) has always been the following: charge the pack, race it in one race, and put it away. That typically puts it somewhere around 60-70%, which is fine.
